The Body is Active and the Mind is Passive

Yoga has been an integral part of my life for the past twenty years. It has been there for me through good times, bad times, sickness and health, pregnancy, sadness, over excitement, nervousness,… Knowing to use the sequencing of a balanced Yoga practice is an art and the medicine that has fed my soul year after year.

The knowledge of self through Yoga has been the most valuable tool of my life. Due to recent endevours, my schedule has not permitted me to teach as often as I would like, and my students have been asking about where and when I will teach next. For the month of July, I will be teaching at Natural Vibrant Health in Hereford, MD.

My good friend Kendall has opened a center where you will find a far infra red sauna, a bio mat, live blood cell analysis and excellent quality supplements and superfoods which you can find no where else. For the month of July, I will be teaching Yoga on Tuesday mornings from 8:30-10am. Please bring your mats, an empty stomach, an open heart and any props you have such as a block, bolster, belt or blankets. Iyengar Yoga uses props so that Yoga asanas can be adjusted to any body at any stage in life. “The body is active and the mind is passive.” B.K.S. Iyengar says and at times we may need some assistance from props. Come an join this five week session and dive deeper into your practice and self awareness.
